Bio
Carla Figueiredo is a Researcher at the Centre for Research and Intervention in Education (CIIE), Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences of the University of Porto. Has participated in several research projects on school education, curriculum and school evaluation. Has teaching experience in curriculum and school evaluation. She is an integrated member of CIIE and member of the Research Community of Practice CAFTe (Curriculum, Evaluation, Training and Educational Technologies). She is, since 2012, an external expert of the External Evaluation of Schools programme of IGEC (General Inspection of Education and Science). She is the author and/or co-author of several articles in scientific journals and book chapters on curriculum and school assessment. Her research interests cover areas within the scope of educational policies and processes, particularly institutional evaluation of schools and universities, school management, curriculum development, and educational policies.
