Determination of the effective minimum doses of Mesosulfuron+Iodosulfuron in cereal fields

Minimum lethal herbicide doses (MLHD), the herbicide doses reduced the dry weight of the weeds at 90% (ED90), of mesosulfuron + iodosulfuron used in two different periods, Zadoks scale 20-22 and Zadoks scale 30-32 growth stages, were investigated in Ankara and Konya provinces from 2008 to 2009. MLHD of mesosulfuron + iodosulfuron for 15 weeds in the three experimental areas was calculated to be used with non-linear regression analysis. ED90 values in Altınova State Farm (SF), Konuklar SF and Polatlı SF, respectively, were estimated 13.11-23.54, 10.82-15.07 and 12.47-19.63 when used the herbicide at early stage, while 15.06-23.60, 12.70-15.78 and 14.06-23.77 g da-1 when used the herbicide at late stage.
