Abstract
The
author deals with phenomenon of simile (tashbîh) which is a topic of al-bayan
sub-field of Arabic Rhetoric in the case of Miftâh by Sakkâkî. In this context,
he evaluates elements (arkân) and circumstances (ahwâl) and kinds (anwâ’) and
reasons (ağrâz) of simile in axis of intellect and sense according to elements
such as soul (nafs), good-bad, easy-difficult, common-rare,
familiar-unfamiliar. With this article, the author, on the one hand, presents
that Sakkâkî’s considering this issue, on the other hand, interrogates also
contribution of Sakkâkî to field of Arabic literary criticism by comparing
between him and his predecessors such as Jurjânî and Râzî.

Abstract
Yazar,
Sekkâkî’nin Miftâh adlı eseri özelinde Arap retoriğinin beyânî yönlerinden
birini teşkil eden “teşbîh” olgusunu ele almaktadır. Bu bağlamda teşbîhin
unsurlarını (erkân), hallerini (ahvâl), çeşitlerini (envâ’) ve yapılış
gayelerini (eğrâz) akıl ve his ekseninde ayrıca nefis, iyi-kötü, kolay-zor, yaygın-nadir,
tanıdık-tanınmadık unsurlar muvacehesinde değerlendirmektedir. İlgili makaleyle
yazar, bir taraftan Sekkâkî’nin ilgili olguyu anlamlandırmasını sunarken, öte
yandan Cürcânî ve Râzî gibi kendisinden etkilenen şahıslarla mukayese yapmak
suretiyle Arap edebiyat eleştiri arenasına katkısını da sorgulamaktadır.
